Alleyway Intervention

The Alleyway Intervention series is an exploration of potential architectural inserts which “land” in tight backstreets to revitalise otherwise neglected urban locations. They are inspired by Japanese architecture in both form and use of raw materials that weather or patina over time. Each concept services the public on the street level with commercial and hospitality tenancies over. Guerrilla street art is encouraged, while the building is engrossed with vegetation and changes over time to become part of the street.
