Bawley Point | NSW
Cross House is a new house on the NSW South Coast and utilises a simple linear ‘+’ formation which accommodates main living areas in a light weight east-west facing upper volume over a blockwork base on the lower level. The simple shape showcases heavy and light materiality to define public and private space.
The upper level allows breath taking water views and access to significant natural light whilst supported on exposed steel members forming vehicle accommodation under. The use of rough, sandy brick and matte metal reflects the surrounding native environment.
