BRUCE | ACT
University of Canberra Building 03 Linkway creates a new engaging pedestrian thoroughfare linking the old(er) Building 03 (Faculty of Science & Technology and Faculty of Health) with the new(er) Building 27 (Teaching Laboratories). A dominant, colourful interlinking ribbon and textured pedestrian walkway guides staff, students and visitors between the two buildings whilst the more untamed and raw ceiling materials create a visually striking metaphor of experimentation and playfulness. The circulation thoroughfare is framed either side by secondary zones designed for working, relaxing, exhibiting and socialising.
