The Merici College refurbishment project focuses on revitalisation works for the auditorium, science labs and Limestone Avenue building façade.
A new operable stage and a timber-clad curved educational pod renews the auditorium space among the bold colours and acoustic ceiling blades throughout. Vivid colours in floor finishes and joinery reintroduces circulation paths, curiosity and sense of discovery within the science labs through carefully considered viewing opportunities. A new simple, yet effective contemporary corten steel screen improves the building façade and cleverly incorporates the Merici College ‘branding’ whilst flanked by growing green walls to be eventually covered by plants.
